ANAS BOURAS / INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION
Output follows the constraint, not the fastest station.
A transparent worked example of constraint-based industrial reasoning.
ILLUSTRATIVE ENGINEERING DEMONSTRATION · NOT A CLIENT PROJECT
Reasoning
The illustrative station rates are 120, 72, 110 and 125 units/hour. The simplified throughput is their minimum: 72/hour. Increasing packing from 125 to 160 does not change it. Raising test capacity from 72 to 95 changes modeled throughput to 95/hour.
Evidence before a decision
Check representative good-output rates, downtime, scrap, buffers and operating conditions.
Potential work products
Constraint study, improvement experiment and capacity-validation plan.
Limits
This is a fixed simplified example, with independent intervention alternatives. It is not a resource-leveled forecast, production measurement or guarantee of improvement.
