ANAS BOURAS / INDUSTRIAL EXECUTION
A faster supplier does not always shorten the critical route.
A transparent worked example of constraint-based industrial reasoning.
ILLUSTRATIVE ENGINEERING DEMONSTRATION · NOT A CLIENT PROJECT
Reasoning
In the model, design (4 weeks) and qualification (8) precede validation (5) and ramp-up (3); a supplier branch takes 6 weeks. Total = max(4 + 8, 6) + 5 + 3 = 20 weeks. Reducing the supplier branch to 3 weeks leaves 20 weeks. Reducing qualification to 5 gives 17 weeks, subject to evidence and feasibility.

Limits
This is a fixed simplified example, with independent intervention alternatives. It is not a resource-leveled forecast, production measurement or guarantee of improvement.
